Texas de Brazil (formerly on Massachusetts Ave NW in Mount Vernon Triangle) ​Rating: 4.7 / 5 Stars (Historical) ​Review: It's a real shame that the D.C. location closed down, because it was an absolute powerhouse for a phenomenal steakhouse experience. The concept with the red and green cards and the gauchos bringing around endless, expertly flame-grilled cuts of beef, lamb, and garlic sausage was always top-tier. Coupled with that massive, 50-item gourmet salad and hot-sides area (featuring incredible lobster bisque, roasted vegetables, and cheeses), you never left hungry. Wife and I have been to many Brazilian style steakhouses and churrascaria’s. This place blows Fogo de Chao and any other “competitors” out of the water by far. The way they truly season and prepare the meat is bar none. Great for special occasions, date night, or just a general treat! You get your money’s worth and leave filled and happy. Can’t say enough good things about this place. We have been here over 15+ times and will continue making Texas de Brazil our go to hot spot for Great Brazilian steakhouse style dining! Thanks guys!

Excellent service. Our server SONIA was really attentive to our table. She was very friendly and helpful. Food quality the best.

Just enjoyed a delicious dinner. There were so many delicious choices and the meat was perfectly seasoned! I appreciated the attentiveness of our server Amina, who was friendly and very knowledgeable in all the specials. My one critique is that we were initially attended to so frequently that my husband & I didn’t get to enjoy our romantic anniversary dinner. Outside of that, great time!

Don't fill up on the salad bar...The different kinds of meat was excellent, I would go again but it is really pricy.

Amazing service. Came here for my nephews graduation yesterday . The variety of different meats and sides were great. Very flavorful and fresh. Im in love with the garlic mashed potatoes. The cappuccino was good and the key lime pie was amazing. Will definitely be back here .

I had a great experience at Texas de Brazil in Fair Oaks. The restaurant offered an impressive variety of meats, all served fresh and full of flavor. The selection was plentiful, and the quality really stood out. Everything tasted fresh, and the service kept the food coming at a perfect pace. Definitely a good spot if you’re looking for a satisfying meal with lots of options.

This place by far is better than Fogo! The salad bars attention to detail was amazing , the cheese cake was to die for… The service was impeccable . Diana was our server and she was awesome !
