Texas de Brazil’s Annual Fundraising Drive Benefits St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital® Throughout August

Dallas, TX – August 1, 2018 —  Guests dining at Texas de Brazil Churrascarias in the USA this August can support St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital® in its life-saving mission: Finding cures. Saving children® as the Brazilian-American steakhouse brand offers its month-long fundraising campaign. Since beginning the summer campaign in 2013, Texas de Brazil and its patrons have raised nearly $400,000 for St. Jude.

During the month of August, Texas de Brazil guests dining at domestic locations can help support families seeking care at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Contributions of any dollar amount may be simply added to the bottom of the check, and for every $5 donated, the guest will receive a $5 certificate to use at a later date. On Mondays, the incentive is doubled and for every $5 donated, the guest will receive $10 in certificates.  Both matching or doubling gift certificates have a maximum potential of $50 and may be redeemed during a future visit. Texas de Brazil will be matching donations all month long up to $25,000 and no purchase is necessary to contribute.

“With the big-hearted support of our guests, we are proud to help St. Jude provide life-saving treatments and services for children fighting cancer and other life-threatening diseases,” says Salim Asrawi, Chief Operating Officer of Texas de Brazil. “We value our continued partnership with the charity and we are extremely fortunate to have employees who are eager to promote the campaign and ensure its success,” he adds.

Treatments invented at St. Jude have helped push the overall childhood cancer survival rate from 20 percent when the hospital opened in 1962 to more than 80 percent today, and they won’t stop until no child dies from cancer.

Tenth Florida Texas de Brazil Location Opens In Jacksonville

DALLAS, July 13, 2018 /PRNewswire/ — Texas de Brazil Churrascaria introduces its newest location and tenth restaurant to call Florida home tonight when doors open at 5 p.m. in Jacksonville’s Town Center Promenade. The Brazilian-American steakhouse brand renowned for its authentic churrasco and rodizio-style dining offers guests a beautiful 190-seat churrascaria located at 4634 Town Center Parkway, directly across from the St. John’s Town Center. The family-owned restaurant group now has establishments in 20 states and seven countries worldwide.

“Everyone associated with the company is very excited to add a new member to the Texas de Brazil family in Jacksonville’s very own Southside neighborhood,” says General Manager Raul Deseda. “This opening will come just three months before the brand’s 20-year anniversary and our team is delighted to expand our offerings in Florida for locals and visitors,” he adds.

The Brazilian-American steakhouse is a unique dining venue that is perfect for any guests seeking original Brazilian churrasco, where all meats are grilled to perfection over natural wood charcoal – a gaucho tradition passed down through generations. The brand new 7,000 square-foot restaurant features an expansive salad area, an open grill kitchen, an intimate bar, an award-winning wine cellar and a private dining room large enough for 20.

Visitors to the new restaurant can expect to be treated to unparalleled service as well as authentic cuisine. To begin dinner, guests start with a trip to the always-fresh salad area which includes a variety of gourmet artisan breads, imported cheeses, fresh buffalo mozzarella, steamed asparagus with marmalade sauce, Brazilian hearts of palm, shrimp salad, sautéed mushrooms, feijoada (black beans), jasmine rice, soup du jour and much more.

Servers stand ready to begin serving the delicious grilled meats carved tableside.  With a flip of the red disc to green, the gauchos know it’s time to deliver a variety of premium meats including Brazilian picanha (sirloin), lamb chops, filet mignon, leg of lamb, Parmesan-crusted pork loin, bacon wrapped chicken breast and more. When a break is needed in the unending flow of mouthwatering meats, guests simply turn their disc back to red. This unique style of dining really assists in fitting your personal dining experience into any time-frame and great for meals with friends and family.

A remarkable wine collection complements the robust meal, featuring award-winning wines from acclaimed wineries to Texas de Brazil’s very own exclusive varietals bottled in Chile. Along with signature wines, toasting options include a traditional Brazilian lime caipirinha or one of the many flavored options and a variety of specialty cocktails.

No meal is complete without a fabulous dessert and sweet treats include classics such as pecan pie, carrot cake, and key lime pie or more exotic options such as the Brazilian flan or deliciously rich Brazilian papaya cream.
