I love this location. First of all. Greeted with respect from the word go. The gentleman that greeted us was wonderful. We talked in and was welcomed with a smile. We dinned in 30 minutes before they were to close and the whole staff was just amazing. We had plates in front of us quickly and the food was flowing wonderfully. The wait staff were all so welcoming. They made sure we had the food we wanted, the wine we loved, and delightful conversation. Cody was our waiter and he could not have done a better job. Victor the manager was so welcoming. When we were done eating at roughly 9 he asked if we were sure. We had just gotten there. I have never in my life felt more welcome at a restaurant than Victor and Cody made us feel. 100% we will be back! Best anniversary dinner we have ever had. Thank you again!!

Make no mistake, this place isn't cheap. However, if you want an AWESOME buffet, this is it. Do yourself a favor, dress up a bit. Don't come in looking like a slob off the street. Staff will treat you the same regardless, but have a little self-respect and respect for the restaurant. They go out of their way to make everything as nice as possible (and believe me, it IS.) My suggestion is to NOT eat the whole day and show up starving. If you're not used to eating a lot of meat, maybe just get the "salad" buffet. There's some small meats (smoked salmon, prosciutto, salami, etc.) on it but no beef/chicken. Great place if you're a carnivore or ketovore. If you've never had picanha (p. pick-han-ya) then be sure to try it. The bacon-wrapped filet is also very good and I could very easily overdose on their lobster bisque. Come hungry with a fat wallet and you might leave a little poorer but you'll be STUFFED with some of the most delicious meats around. NOTE: all their meat is cooked medium-rare (just the way we like it, and nature intended.) If you like your meats "well done" you might want to skip and head to the local burger joint. This is meat utopia. The atmosphere is very nice, upscale - and the wait staff is all professional and polite. My iced tea never went dry! Great for celebrating - birthdays, anniversaries, etc. Also good for business meals as well. This is "yo dawg, I heard you like meat sweats" if I ever saw it.

Food and service were top notch. It was my husband's first visit there and you gained a returning customer. The hostess was on her phone and unfriendly but I'm giving this restaurant a 5 star as the server was professional l, attentive and knowledgeable and the food was amazing.

Me and my wife had the pleasure of being Mordiki's last table of the night, he was a blast and we enjoyed every minute of it. The food was delicious and and everyone serving was incredibly attentive. The Brazilian strawberry limeade was perfect, not too tart, and definitely worth getting the pitcher.

Steak was delicious and juicy, and the salad bar was amazing! Great service from everybody, our server Georgia was wonderful! I recommend the piña colada

Jackie, our waitress, was a gem. The service she provided was wonderful and she was always attentive. The food was delicious and piping hot. The servers with the meat skewers were super friendly and patient. Everything was so delicious, that's why it's my favorite restaurant in McAllen.

Delicious and worth it. Food was so good. Our waitress, Vontese, was amazing! She always made sure our glasses were filled and our sides and bread were filled and even made sure we tried all the different kinds of meat. We never wanted for anything. This was so fun.

This is the Downtown location. We had 6:45 pm reservations. Arrived at 6:30 and was seated right away. Was seated right by the kitchen. This is the best location in my opinion. As soon as the different meat choices come out, you get it still nice and hot. They have a great selection on salad, cheeses and anti pasta choices. There's black beans, jasmine rice and mushrooms. Lobster bisc was available and they bring mashed potatoes and cooked bananas and bread to your table. Servers are constantly clearing used plates and refilling drinks. As long as your table card is on green, the meat choices don't stop. There was filet mignon, braised beef ribs, picanha, leg of lamb to name a few. They also offer a military discount.

This was our first time here and the experience very much exceeded our expectations! We are from Corpus Christi and like to go to one of the larger cities every month for a little something different... Texas de Brazil is now on the list to visit regularly! Food was delicious, presentation was beautiful. The service was perfect; all of the servers are attentive and very friendly. The atmosphere was great, decor is beautiful. Did I say the food is freakin delicious?! Everything is spic and span clean. We can’t wait to come back. Highly recommend!
