Accessibility
Texas de Brazil is committed to providing a digital experience that is accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities. We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level A and AA, the effective communication requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), and other applicable regulations.
How We Work Toward Accessibility
-
Program & Governance: We run a continuous accessibility program and engage third-party accessibility experts to review our sites and apps.
-
Testing Methods: We combine manual reviews, assistive technology testing (e.g., screen readers, keyboard-only navigation), and automated scans to identify and remediate issues.
-
Ongoing Improvement: Accessibility is not a one-time event. We monitor, fix, and re-test as our content, features, and technology evolve.
Assistive Tools
Accessibility controls are available on every page from the header (desktop: top-left; mobile: header menu). Adjust text size, color contrast, and motion. These tools are optional aids and do not replace our goal of building accessible experiences by default.
We also make an assistive CX technology application available to customers who have trouble typing, gesturing, moving a mouse, or reading. The application is free to download and includes tools such as mouse and keyboard replacements, voice recognition, speech enablement, and hands-free/touch-free navigation.
Accessibility Partners
To help accomplish our goals, we have partnered with Level Access to administer our accessibility program and oversee its governance. Their accessibility program evaluates our digital products on an ongoing basis in accordance with best practices and is supported by a diverse team of accessibility professionals, including users of assistive technologies.
