Cachaca Cocktails: Ipanema Margarita + Manaus Mule

Cachaça is the national spirit of Brazil and made from distilled sugar cane. Each week this September, we'll be featuring two Cachaça cocktails: one to try in our restaurant and one to make at home!

Texas de Brazil Cachaça Cocktail: Ipanema Margarita Enjoy this Brazilian twist on the classic margarita with Cachaça, Triple Sec, and fresh limes during your next visit to Texas de Brazil.

Ingredients  1½oz Cachaça 1oz Triple Sec 2oz Sour Mix 1 Lime Wedge

Method Pour Cachaça, Triple Sec, and sour mix into shaker. Squeeze lime wedge into shaker, add ice, and shake gently. Pour into glass with a rim of salt, and garnish with a lime wedge.

Leblon Cocktail: Manaus Mule Travel to Brazil with this revisited version of the Moscow Mule.

Ingredients  1oz Cedilla Açaí Liqueur 1/1.5oz Vodka, 1/1.5oz Fresh Lime Juice 4oz Ginger Beer

Method  Fill a highball glass with ice. Add Cedilla Açaí Liqueur, vodka and lime juice, and top with ginger beer. Stir well, and garnish with a lime wheel.
