Each week this September, we'll be featuring two Cachaça cocktails: one to try in our restaurant and one to make at home! And don't forget, National Capirinha Day is Thursday, September 13!

Leblon Cocktail: Revolução Brasileira Inspiration of this recipe was created by Leblon's Global Brand Ambassador Alex Mesquita (@oficialalexmesquita).
In 1996, Cachaça was officially registered in Brazil as "a typical Brazilian product", and this became a true revolution for the Spirits industry. Hence the name of the cocktail, Brazilian Revolution. As we could not leave aside the history of the slaves in Brazil, we flambé the cinnamon with a small torch to have a sensory and very pleasant aroma.
Ingredients 2oz Cachaça 3/4oz corn syrup 3/4oz pineapple Juice 3/4oz lime juice 2 bar spoons of Simple Syrup
Method Pour all ingredients into the shaker and shake together. Serve in a rocks glass and garnish with a cinnamon stick.
