DALLAS, TX – Nov. 6, 2018 – Fans of Texas de Brazil’s authentic churrasco and exceptional dining experience available at Texas de Brazil can enjoy even more throughout the holiday season this year. Along with additional Thanksgiving fare and Christmas Eve treats, shoppers and celebrants alike will enjoy extended hours and bonus lunch service at select locations on Thursday and Friday through December 21.
“The holidays are a time to feast with great friends and whether you’re catching up over a quick lunch or are looking to linger with group of friends or family, we are happy to offer our extended hospitality to guests around the country during the season,” says Salim Asrawi, COO of the family-owned Brazilian-American steakhouse brand with 59 locations worldwide.
Festivities begin with Thanksgiving on Thursday, November 22, when most locations nationwide open at 11 a.m. Guests will enjoy the vast salad area selections and rodizio-style menu renowned at Texas de Brazil plus traditional Thanksgiving favorites including roast turkey, stuffing, and other holiday side dishes.
To accommodate a busy season of holiday shopping and daytime celebrations, 21 Texas de Brazil locations will add lunch service beginning on Black Friday, November 23. Through Friday, December 21, special hours offer a convenient way to enjoy the full rodizio-style menu or the salad area only dining experience at lunch pricing. See special holiday service detail here.
On Christmas Eve, all restaurants open early (11 a.m. or 12 noon), and each adult meal purchased receives complimentary soft drinks or regular iced tea plus a dessert – a gift for the holiday. Restaurants nationwide will be open regular hours on New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day; closed on Christmas Day.
At Texas de Brazil, every guest’s experience begins at the expansive salad area filled with freshly made dishes, both hot and cold, including favorites such as lobster bisque and coconut fish stew (Moqueca), traditional rice and beans and potatoes au gratin, or charcuterie and imported cheeses, Brazilian hearts of palm, pineapple carpaccio and vegetable couscous. The menu also features a variety of grilled meats cooked the authentic Brazilian gaucho way --over open flame using natural wood charcoal which gives the meats a deeper, more intense flavor and just the right amount of smokiness. The tempting selections including succulent lamb chops, leg of lamb, picanha (sirloin), filet mignon, chicken breasts wrapped in bacon, Brazilian sausages and more, are then served tableside by costumed gauchos (servers).
During the continuous dining experience, guests pace the gaucho’s service with a simple flip of a red and green disc. Green indicates when additional servings are welcome while red indicates a break is needed. The appealing menu offers something to please everyone at the table.
