This is the restaurant that can satisfy for a night out, but be prepared to drop a pretty penny.

Texas de Brazil is an upscale dining experience which comes with a full bar, a salad bar, and wine stock in the style of an all- you-can-eat. Open for Brunch on Sundays from 11am to 3pm, Lunch on Fridays from 5pm to 2pm, and Dinner scheduled for Monday to Thursday from 5pm to 9:30pm, Fridays from 5pm to 10pm, Saturdays from 4:30pm to 10pm, and Sundays from 4pm to 9pm. The Bar has Happy Hour open on weekdays from 4:30pm to 7pm.

Pricing for dinner comes in two styles: Light Dinner for $24.99 or Regular Dinner for $44.99. Children under 2 are complementary while children age’s three to five are $5.00. With the addition of children age’s six to twelve are half price. Why all these strange children’s pricing? I haven't a clue, but still think it would be much easier if there was a flat rate for children over all.

Normally, I wouldn't recommend going during lunch as I've noticed a trend of mixed feelings towards the food presentation and taste. Ordering anything of a meat quality came in either too bloody or overly salted, however the salad bar was constantly amazing. The wait staff for lunch tends to be on the newly hired or lacking patients with customers. Compared to the dinner staff, I would advise only going for dinner plans if you're expecting a smile and a small chit-chat between servings. Fair warning, it is very easy to fill up on the salad bar before receiving the main course.

Dining tip #1: You are allowed free refills on tea drinks. No free refills on sodas and wines.

If you ever try the lamb, I suggest asking them to add a mint jelly to it. Sounds a little strange, but it is delicious!

Dining tip #2: All meats are served rare, unless otherwise requested.

If this is your first time to a churrascaria, its best to sample all the different meats there is to offer before settling on a dish.

Dining tip #3: Dessert is not included in the total for the meal. It is separate there for the price will vary in addition to the meal cost.

This is what threw my group through a loop when it came time to order dessert. There were a total of six of us for an order of crème burleys, key lime pies, and banana fosters. In all, each slice ran us roughly $6.00 to $10.00.

Overall, Texas de Brazil is a wonderful dinner experience for special occasions. Brunch and Lunch should be taken with mild expectations.
